The Mindfulness Meditation Experience

The Drive

  • some of the most breathtaking scenery that Juneau has to offer. Your guide will meet you in the heart of downtown Juneau and drive you to the trailhead. The drive meanders by the Mendenhall Wetlands where eagles abound, by an amazing view of the Mendenhall Glacier, into the Tongass National Forest, and breathtaking water views of the Lynn Canal. Don’t worry, there will be stops along the way to take in these amazing views.

Mindfulness Session

  • Juneau’s breathtaking scenery.

    Upon reaching the trailhead, you will hike approximately a half-mile through the enchanting forest to reach the experience site. Accompanied by your guide, you will find a space where you’re surrounded by the forest's vibrant energy, offering a picturesque view of the ocean. Each participant is provided with a chair to ensure their comfort during the session. Once settled, you are guided through a series of breathing and mindfulness exercises, immersing yourself in the abundant healing powers of nature. As the burdens of daily life dissolve, a sense of tranquility and serenity will envelop you. The serene surroundings of Juneau serve as the ideal setting for this transformative encounter.

    Guests participating in the tour should have the physical ability to hike independently on uneven ground for up to two miles, with a slight elevation gain.

The Meal

  • your mind and spirit, but we also provide nourishment for your body. Following our mindfulness activities, you’ll be treated to an exquisite soup and salad meal prepared by Chef Ivan Adams.
